I cannot remember if we've covered this particular film on here yet but figured I might as well post it again:

It follows Stephen Radcliffe through his pilot training up to his first flight as second officer. At the time he was the youngest pilot to join BOAC. VC10s are included

Saw that on youtube a while back. Apparently Radcliffe was killed not long after in a road accident.

I had a look at
PPRuNe, it says there that he died from a fall off a cliff during a camping holiday. That was in 1971, so a year after the film was produced. Another reason to promote it then, it is a small tribute to a career and a life which were both way too short.

The captain looks a bit like Graham Hill I thought.
