The Final Time

Post by Flour Power »

Just the one from yesterday; probably the final image I'll ever take of a VC10 taking off. :-({{|=

On the plus side, I've been able to get the 23rd of September off work so - assuming a giant spanner isn't thrust lustily into the proverbial 'works' - I'll see some of you at Brunty. [-o<

Regards,

Mike

Another great idea for raising money for VC10 preservation project but I'm not even going there :)

You'd be more than welcome to use the image when the fundraising is formalised.

Well, if I could persuade the wife she would probably do a very good rendition. Her attention to detail is meticulous.
One would have prints made from the original to sell.

I don't have any technical skills - or, sadly, a million and a half spare - but if selling prints would help; please feel free to use the image towards any restoration or conservation funds properly set up.

I'll put it to the wife and see what she says.

That is a beautiful picture. Gives you the feeling of the end, sadly :(

If I could have a copy of it I would gladly frame it and donate it to funds to look after BOB.
Never had a GE's wallet. It was always empty when I got back but I always had a smile on my face :-)

It is a beautiful picture indeed.

Andy, don't be so down about the fund raising. Let's just get it all on the right footing, no one is knocking what you want to do, it just has to be right where collecting and disributing money is concerned. :D

Best regards.
