Not actually seen that one but yes I did see Rons. I have been informed officially from the museum this afternoon via email and I am delighted.

Brilliant news about 148 =D>

£900 for yoke badges, where's the 'fainting' emoticon?

I know where there are a few dodgy Tristars... two careful owners :-)////) :-)////) Perhaps I'll email them!

Yes Thumper, I know what you mean... thankfully I was sober as I may have been tempted and then wondered where on earth I'd get the cash!

Tonks
There must be an alloy wheel centre cap or steering wheel centre cap type thing that could be modified to fit?

It's not the bit that fits into the yoke that will be the problem, it is the top bit that is gonna be difficult as it is a perspex sphere...

I'm sure if you have a decent photograph of the badge and dimensions to work with any plastic fabricator could sort that perspex sphere out for you. Might cost a fair bit but probably not £900!!

As far as I have been told none of the BA supers had yoke badges when deliverd to the RAF, the BA crews removed them on the thire last flights as civil AC
