Long awaited.... Corgi is finally issueing a VC10 model! But unfortunately it is not the scale and quality we all hoped for.

From a quick search there appears to be a C1 in RAF scheme, and a BOAC Standard. The price is reasonable at 4,99 pounds, but I for one would still like to see them issueing a proper 1/144 scale VC10 in a range of colour schemes!

Absolutely awful!!! What is going on with the flight deck windows?
Note that the 10 Sqn version is XR806 so I presume it can be posed sat on its tail after a little too much fuel was put in the fin tanks?
I still intend to have a go at butchering the Airfix K2 kit and converting it into a decent representation of a K3 so I don't think I'll be parting with 5 quid for one of Corgi's offerings.
(I've just learnt that I'll be leaving the VC10 fleet in august for a desk job on E3-Ds )
