Conway Engine Display
There is a cut-away Rolls-Royce Conway engine on display at the Farnborough Air Sciences Trust (FAST) museum. I believe it came from the local technical college and looking at the collour of its trolley may have been ex-BOAC. It's fan blades rotate when a button is switched giving an idea on how the engine worked. For more information on the museum visit www.airsciences.org.uk. The museum is open every weekend 1000-1600 and entrance is FREE. It is closed during the Xmas period, so check first before visiting.
