Polo Shirt Donations have landed at Cosford for 'Bob'

It's been a bit of a long process but the cheque for £285.00 in donations from the sale of the VC10 tribute shirts has safely landed at Cosford and has been banked. The funds will go towards XR808's upkeep. The new General Manager at RAF Museum Cosford, Mr Paul Pomfret thanked everyone for their donations towards their VC10, which has been mentioned on their website at the bottom of the XR808 exhibit page;

I must say Bob looks rather splendid outside and I shall certainly make an effort to go and visit in the summer. Well done Cosford for preserving another VC10, it was a rather mammoth effort to get XR808 from Brunty to the Museum but they pulled it off with the help of GJD Services =D>
