According to PlanePlotter (which I think is wrong) she's near Waterlooville...

Unfortunately she is not showing on FR24 or Live Mode S so I can't help you. Shouldn't be too long though!

Well it was good whilst it lasted - and that was so much longer than expected or planned.

That is very true, if the powers that be had known how long a career the 10 was going to have they might have looked much more closely at the re-engining option that was on the table at one point.

Deep sadness at today' s event -so sad that i will probably have to turn to drink :D

However good fortune with the late arrival meant I was there at all and it was good to see Dave and Rich and appreciate some of the background politics to our interest in all things VC10

Because i was betwixt and between for the final landing I only have video--is there anybody with a good quality JPEG of the actual touchdown that they would not mind sending a copy? If so a PM would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Bob

Was a long day in the end, but I'm glad I made it to Brize to see the mighty VC10 roar off for one last time.

Just got home from a good day at Bruntingthorpe, thank you for allowing us to be there Gary.

It was nice to see familiar faces there and to see such a good turn out to welcome ZA147 and mark the end of a magnificent feat of British design and engineering.

I hope all those ex Vickers, BOAC etc guys felt proud to see their work looking still looking good.

Enjoyed chatting to the 101Squadron guys and lady too, wasn't sure the crowd were ever going to let them leave.

I am now going to pour a large whisky and raise it in honour of the Vickers VC10 and its illustrious career.

Well said Magnum!

Thanks again Gary for inviting everyone and making it so public.

Judging by the turnout, there are a lot of understanding bosses around!
