Is this new book here a different book altogether than the book with the same name by Scott Henderson as advertised on the news page of this site in October? Strange the 2 new books with the same title name are due out if it is!

New VC10 Photo book

Post by Jelle Hieminga »

Yes, this one is different. This is a pictorial tribute without a lot of text, I expect Scott Henderson's book to be in the same vein as his previous book, a lot of stories with large photos scattered throughout the book (which is due in 2014). Peter Foster chose a similar title but that cannot always be avoided.

Peter's book can be previewed in full through the link above so you'll know what you're getting. It focuses on the military VC10s as he has been involved with those for a large part of his career as an aviation photographer. There are several of his photos scattered throughout my site, some of them only in a small size unfortunately, but they give an idea of his skills.

Just ordered mine today and am in the process of downloading the PDF version too - I hope the spelling of 'VC10' on the front cover doesn't continue throughout!! Why on earth is there a full stop between VC and 10!?!?

I'm afraid to say the VC.10 does continue throughout the book :(

Got my copy yesterday. One error I spotted was that it says ZA150 retired in August
