What a brilliant sight and sound. Well done for making this happen, long may it continue. Having two runners would be amazing. Looking forward to Brunty running theirs now.

Wasn't the 'event' private and for trustee's though? Sorry but I'm not going to donate for everyone else to have a good time

What are the plans for 150's future and is Dunsfold her permanent home?

Yes, this event was private for the people who negotiated saveing '150 from the scrapman and their guest who may have the influence to help support the VC10 exhibits at Brooklands in various ways. Please bear in mind the infrastructure that was needed to do the run only fell into place about 17:00 the previous day, with a bit more notice who knows?

The only way 150 will be leaving Dunsfold is in sections. The plan is to open her to public display and the occasional taxi run. How to make a visit to Dunsfold attractive to the general public (non-VC10 fans) has yet to be finalised

Dunsfold is extremely well know if not by name, but by sight, through Top Gear, so some sort of combination with a car show would be an idea. I presume a taxi run at the Dunsfold airshow would be an obvious opportunity, although I suspect most of the visitors wouldn't understand why she couldn't fly with the rest of the show.
