The last two days have seen a number of things sorted in preparation for the Cold War Jets Open Day in May. The top end on engines 1 and 2 are all connected and the bottom end of number1 is also done.
The APU has been bled and tested and various systems in the cockpit tested too, including the flying controls.
Thoroughly enjoyed helping the guys out today and have now been in a part of the VC10 rarely seen. Had to find my way through the hold of ZA147 to get inside the aircraft and "borrow" the autopilot for 241.
241 is now sporting a refuelling probe too courtesy of 147 too.
Progress with ZD241/G-ASGM over the last two days.
