The USAF name their new tanker... 'Pegasus'

Room for non-VC10 related issues, anything fits in here actually.

Pegasus was the name of their Navy Constellation that crashed in Antarctica back in 1970.

Mythical horse with wings doesn't really do it for me, not sure why a lot of people don't like Voyager, it's a Star Trek spaceship which I think is pretty cool! :-)/\/\/\)

Not so easy to come up with a good, new name for an aircraft?

Sometimes re-using an old name can work, though maybe going for 'Stratotanker III' would just be lazy!

As mentioned on FC, at least Pegasus follows the Greek mythology theme established by Hercules, Nimrod, Orion, Poseidon etc, and now followed with Atlas. Voyager though? Reminds me of the first Shuttle, which was going to be named Constitution. However, 'Trekkies' then persuaded President Ford to use his 'influence' to have it named Enterprise! :-)/\/\/\) :-)/\/\/\)
