Trident three G-AWZI Website

Post by XV105 »

Not a VC10 I appreciate, but another of the last pure British airliners has been preserved, all be it just the nose section. Located at the Farnborough Air Sciences Trust (FAST) museum, Farnborough airport is the nose section of a former BEA`/ BA Trident three G-AWZI. The nose section is complete and 'live' with instrument, ceiling and floor lights all working along with some of her systems such as the radio, stick shaker, engine fire bell, stall warning horn and stick shaker. Zulu India is as she would have looked in service with check lists, crew manuals, load sheets, etc all on display even crew uniforms hanging up in the wardrobe. The museum is FREE to enter and open every weekend 1000-1600, visits during the week can be arranged by prior arrangements. Donations always appreciated.
The Trident has its own dedicated website WWW.G-AWZI.CO.UK, well worth a visit. --+0+--
