I presume the ops over the north sea will still be going ahead thus delaying the arrival at Dunsfold.

They must be delayed too then because there are no VC10's as showing in the air as of now and as mentioned it was due out of Brize at 9:30L.

Za150 took off on mission with a voyager half hour late due fog ,dep 1035.
Guess will end mission and go to dunsfold. Hope it does a flypast at brize before it goes as hardly saw its depart through the fog.

Well either way it's good the 10 managed to take off albeit a little later, I presume she is still over the North Sea as I can't find her on FR24 or Mode-S anymore. This does make the last operational flights being Friday 20th somewhat false! Proof that they shouldn't be canned if they are still finding use for them right up until the morning of ones retirement!! :-({{|=

Thanks for the heads up. I'd think the 'mission' today is more of a photo opportunity than an actual operational sortie.

I'm intrigued by the pair of Falcons off the coast east of Scarborough.

Yes I have been watching them as well, word on UKAR is there is a 100sqn Hawk out with the Voyager and 10 as well. All rather interesting! Still no sign on FR24 of the VC10 or the Voyager which is a surprise seeing as 150 is due to flypast Farnborough in half an hour.

Yeh, 'mission' is the wrong term here. The RRR8xx numbers are training/ferry flights etc. The 'Tartan' (AAR) mission callsigns ended on Friday.

The Falcons are just the regular Cobham flights out of Teesside, working their usual play areas.

Yep, just got her east of York still over the sea. On her way to Farnborough now I guess!
