Re: Night Voyager...
How long was the exposure time? Surprising there isnt any sign of the Voyager at all, even a darker bit of sky round the trail of lights. Great image, impressively crisp and sharp.

Not a bad aircraft as all, and quite aesthetically pleasing, but not the late Queen of the Skies.
My golden rule when posting on forums is to avoid religion and especially politics, so I shall steer clear of discussing the Voyager's procurement
Nice photo by the way

Night Voyager...
It is rumoured that they didn't want to name it with a name that could be connected to Star Trek... sadly there were no fans in the office when they picked Voyager =D>

It's just as well for you, as a Voyager pilot, they didn't call it the Kobayashi Maru

Or better still, with an eccentric Damon Lindelof script, Voyager will enter an alternate timeline where an ailing Boeing was nationalised by the US Gov back in 1977 and subsequently went under. Where William Shatner never existed. Meanwhile, Vickers has just rolled out the VC21 in the wake of a series of best selling airliners and military transports

A bit dull looking, but they are good to travel on so not knocking it!Bill1980 wrote:Not a bad aircraft as all, and quite aesthetically pleasing, but not the late Queen of the Skies.

They are indeed Craig... the feedback we get is excellent. I actually think the 330 is the better looking of the Airbus family. I know all modern jets look the same but I like it. I think the 787 looks great to...they are good to travel on

Of the Airbuses the 330 and 340 are the ones I prefer.Tonkenna wrote:They are indeed Craig... the feedback we get is excellent. I actually think the 330 is the better looking of the Airbus family. As for the 787? One wonders if it could withstand an intertropical convergence storm assuming the crew were stupid enough to penetrate it!

Well... having flown past this the other day I am not sure if much would survive it!
