There's another interesting item on eBay now: http://bit.ly/1iDiKB8

If this is the coin that was made this year, then only a limited number were produced. I'm tempted to put in a bid myself but I don't think I can go very high so as long as I can get some good photos off you guys, feel free to battle this one out amongst yourselves ;-)

Those copper etchings used to be very popular, the guy who did them lived not far from Brize, in Fulbrook near Burford.

Go on, you know you want to have it

I thought I'd change the title of this thread as we've strayed a bit from the original item and there are bound to be more VC10 items on there.

Better still, why not cut out the middle man and have a sales corner on the website? Perhaps call it Tenbay :D

Actually I think a For Sale/Wanted section is a really good idea!

I'm a member of some collectors' forums, and this sort of thing seems to work quite well. They are usually restricted to members who have clocked up a certain number of posts, to deter commercial sellers (fancy a £28,000 Conway, anyone?) And fake items are most certainly verboten, so no IL-62 stuff

Post by ACLVC10 »

Just having a bit of a sort out and I've reluctantly put a 101 squadron t shirt on eBay if anyone from here is interested.

More goodies on Ebay...

Post by Bill1980 »

A number of VC10 pitot probes have been listed on Ebay. I managed to bag the P1 probe from XR807, removed when she met her maker at Brunty. It'll go nicely with my XR807 airspeed indicator.

This is starting to feel a bit like one of those magazine subscriptions- "build your own VC10 in 3,000 issues"
