Come along to Bruntingthorpe and see the graceful VC10 as she performs her first public Fast Taxi run.

She will be open for public viewing in the morning until 2pm when the crew will need to prepare and move her for her run.

A very enjoyable day with a small team of us showing the public the interior of 241. A big thanks to all those who made this possible and to the aircrew and technical crews whose efforts saw the first public fast taxi run. My ears are still ringing from the wonderful noise of those 4 Conways.

It was nice to see that many people came to the open day to see 241 running.

I must remember to bring some sun cream in August, my face is just a little sore from sunburn.

You certainly did Tonks - it was an awesome run, with noise at both ends when you used reverse thrust . I'm sure that some folks were looking up thinking you were still going for it!
