One could spend a tenner and see A40-AB at Brooklands instead!

Re: ZA150 at wings and wheels
Guys, can we give this a rest? All of the relevant questions have been answered and there's nothing to be gained by continuing this discussion. I'd like to leave the topic active as there's a lot of interesting information in it but if we're continuing further down this road then you'll leave me no option but to close it.
Please use your common sense, think before you post and don't pull me into the role of policeman. That's not the role I want to take here and I would expect everyone to be professional enough so that I don't have to do this.
Export10: if you want to leave this forum then you'll have to stop visiting it and stop posting on threads. I'm not going to remove your profile as I hope that you can leave this little bump in the road behind and will continue visiting us.

Re: ZA150 at wings and wheels
Paul, please ignore these negative comments/people. Thank you and the others so much for keeping 150 in running condition. I'm disappointed she wont be running at W&W but I'd be gutted to say the least if she was never to run again. I'll be making the trip to Dunsfold and leaving a donation, its the least I can do to help in a very small way a VC10 stay capable of moving under its own power.

Rest assured we have no intention having her as a permanent static exhibit. If I wanted that I would just go the Brooklands and look after A4O-AB, that would be a lot easier than the trials & tribulations we face in keeping 150 serviceable.Gsxr600 wrote:I'm disappointed she wont be running at W&W but I'd be gutted to say the least if she was never to run again. If you see me at Dunsfold say hello - we all have name badges.

Paul
Ignore the moaners!!
I'm sure plenty of people will enjoy seeing '150 this weekend so enjoy showing her off! I'll do you a deal Paul, we'll make some noise with 241 this weekend for all of us and you can hopefully return the favour in the not to distant future!

Re: ZA150 at wings and wheels
We had a very successful weekend with the a/c fully electrically powered - courtesy of Virgin Atlantic - and Shane Stiger (one of the Capt's that brought 150 to Dunsfold) talking to visitors in the cockpit, answering their questions. We had a queue all day.
