When the airframes were sold to the RAF, they were removed from the civil register as 'transferred to unqualified owner'. This makes sense as the RAF is not an organisation that complies with civil regulations, but they don't have to as they have their own, military regulations.

If you look at the register entries for G-ASIX or 5N-ABD for example you will see that their transfer to a foreign register is also listed under this same heading. It's a way of saying 'the aircraft is no longer under our control' I guess.
