Vc10 pressurisation rig up for grabs free

Post by Laurieg »

We have got a vc10 pressurisation rig here in twin peaks that has got to go. It was used in my time here on the 10 but needs to be shifted. It is going free for any one who wants it. If interested drop a reply here or PM me.

It comes with new hoses. If anyone knows someone on one of the taxing aircraft who may be interested.

Cheers

Laurie

I've notified both groups Laurie. I'll let you know if I hear anything but I suspect that they'll get in touch with you directly if they're interested.

I'll pass myself, I don't think my better half would appreciate it if I stuck it in the garden as an ornament....

Hi

We enquiried about this a few weeks ago but when we said yes to It, the free offer turned into the company wanting money for it. I'll asked the aircraft owner again this evening

Don't know about the change of mind but the suppliers told me today if we don't hear by Friday the it's in the bin! The manual and new hoses are with it. I took a picture of it but can't seem to up load it.

I only remember seeing it used a couple of times when we moved back to twin peaks.

Are we talking about a hydraulic rig?

No. It is a cabin pressure rig. Used in the shed for squeezing the aircraft.

Thanks, that is what I thought it was but just wanted to be clear.

I don't think we need one for 150. Thanks for the thought though.

Not a problem. Just clearing the hangar so it was a thought. Can't think of any reason for a none flying unit would do with it anyway. If you wanted to squeeze the frame run the engines. (Although a tanker compressors were a bugger to get to max diff).

On an aside when is the next weekend that the kite is open to view. Have a few days owing so thought about coming up? Can't make Cosford.
