Hello, I have always admired the VC10 aircraft and I go back along way with it. I was at RAF Changi in Singapore, between 1968 - 1971, where, the aircraft was a regular visitor, in RAF Transport Command livery. I have always fancied having a car registration VC 10. I have often wondered why these aircraft are not used at airshows. I can often remember standing watching these aircraft take off at Changi and getting a fix of roaring jet engine (not dissimilar to a Vulcan) and crackling air, and I wasn't alone, believe me. Particularly attrative aircraft in landing pose I think. Thankyou for the site and an opportunity to rabbit on.

Bye, Keith Horry

A very interesting and informative site.I shall look forward to a a regular revisit.

The VC10 is a great aircraft and deserves this attention. Keep up the good work.

Having just visited Duxford and went aboard their VC10 it brought back many memories of travelling to and from Bahrain in the 1970s. A well worth visit i might add.

Couldn't believe my eyes a few days ago. I saw a VC10 sitting on the tarmac here at Edmonton International. RAF livery. Being from England originally I was always seeing VC10's flying ovwer my Leigh home. Funny, I thought these great old birds had been retired!

I flew on VC10's to and from Australia in 1971 and 1973 when it was a long multi stop route. Also seen the two aircraft at Duxford and Brooklands which are worth visiting.

Interesting site. I went to Brooklands Museum today and saw a VC10. On returning home I found you via the Brooklands Museum Links Page.

Agreed the 10 has not been well served on the Web. As an ex-10 Squadron Loadmaster on "Shiny Ten" Squadron from 66-72, wish you well in expanding your site to do homage to a great A/c!
