Ooo I like that, that's Bob having a play before landing, 2 fingers, "nope, not ready yet"! :-)////) --+0+--

Thanks Helen.

Indeed it is Bob having a play. Rotated for effect. Sadly, the rest of my images from Monday are all rather much of a muchness so am going through my archives for some more. [-o<

Good old Bob.

My friend Elaine refers to us all as 'Team Bob', she will be pleased to see Bob playing.

Perhaps Gary's project could be called 'Team Bob'.

I like Team Bob, that works rather nicely!

I know what you mean about samey images FP, I only quickly processed mine as to be honest my kit ain't top notch so there's only so much I can do post process, but I went back through the images and they're all a bit the same so I'll have to have a think about next time and how I can get some different angles. Avoiding that flippin' outbuilding by the wind sock would be a good start #-o

Bob and the Bobettes?

I've been getting increasingly sad about how little large sections of the aviation 'community' care about something as momentous as Bob's (and, by extension, all remaining VC10s) decommissioning. On one forum these images were posted there have been far fewer views than multiple sets of identical images from lowfly sites in north Wales. Sad to say, I feel that most simply have no interest whatsoever.

Anyhow, happily, we care and it's great to be amongst like-minded folks.

Thank you all for caring. =D>

You were lucky to get replies on UKAR but then they do reserve replies for exceptional photography (which yours most certainly is), amateurs with non-pro kit get ignored or slated into the ground, take it from me, it's true!

I looked through a Lakenheath/Mildenhall post and every single image looked the same, then I realised it was infact about 20 images of a few different KC-135's :|

I know what you mean Helen. I gave up posting images on fora (?) long ago but the number of hits on UKAR is 9x the forum to which I refer. Anyway, I much prefer the members here; more intelligent, discerning and , yes, even better looking. Well, two out of three ain't bad.

If you think UKAR is bad, please don't ever step into a civil aviation forum! Eek.

I long gave up posting on pprune and Key Publishing

Fighter Control is a very friendly forum and you've had a good response on there, I can only liken FC to VC10.net as everyone is welcome and even complete 'newbies' are encouraged and given advice, something which you won't get elsewhere :D

Thanks Andy.

Just delighted with anything that keeps the end of the VC10 in the spotlight.
