The only redeeming feature is that it proves that if the big man in Red needed an aircraft, a VC10 would be the ride of choice.

True... but I am sure most of the junk given at Chrstmas travels in lorries... could always paint one up in Eddiie Stobbart colours....

I emailed Herpa a few months ago when they announced this. I told them it was a waste of the mould and that they should have done an RAF example to coincide with the retirement. So...I made my own ZA147 using the same 1:500 model as a donor.
