Work was carried out on 13/14th March by a small team of volunteers with a very minor input from your truly on the Friday.
It was a very foggy start to the day. So foggy in fact that I you could barely see the other two VC10 parked next to us.
After two days of work though, which involved sorting out the jigsaw of pieces left when the engines were originally removed, the top half of nos. 1 and 2 are connected along with the bottom of no. 1.
The APU has been checked out and run up as well, once all the air in the lines had eventually worked its way through.
