Pilot spoke in biblical terms
The traffic controller at London Heathrow Airport had to quickly refer to a bible to make sense of one of the replies on the airwaves. A military VC10 was underway from Newfoundland to London non-stop. During the flight the pilot was instructed to land at Keflavik, Iceland, to pick up some goods destined for London. The pilot confirmed reception of this message with "Deuteronomy 27:18". After a quick search in the bible the traffic controller got the message: "Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way."

Biblical terms...
I found this in an old (Dutch) newspaper from 23rd September 1971 (freely translated by me):
Buttons . . . check. Dials . . . check. Switches . . . check. Little
colored lights . . . check.
