They also used the Power Control package concept that was used on the 10 & the Valiant on the A380

That's interesting! I haven't seen much data on the A380 systems yet but I'll keep a lookout for it. I've always liked the PCU setup on the VC10 from a design point of view, it'll be interesting to see the Airbus version.
