Hopefully the CAF will find a way for the aircraft to earn her keep without taking away what made her so special in the first place :)

Well thats a new one on me .... and if true, I for one will be delighted ! It is obvious to me that any other airframe should be used not a VC10 of any type.....but I am very slightly biased. They had a spare DC 6 at Coventry to do something with so I guess that made sense.

...and then there is the wind rattling across this coastal airfield. What ever they use it will be no fun eating on board in a gale. The VC10 rocks like a boat as it is. No amount of tie down or weight on will stop that.

Can't see there would ever be enough room for it if I'm honest....... But you never know!
