Hi,

This is my first real VC-10 related post!

I live in Worcester, Midlands and the area in the north of the city in whcih we lives is an RAF low flying area, meaning that we get many Tornados and Harriers flying at low altitudes frequently.

Also we have VC-10's and Tristars flying over alot! The VC-10 is the one that you can hear as it shakes the house abit  I was wondering of any of you knew if Worcester was on a regular flight plan (if this is not classified?). The reason that I ask is that I would be interseted in some of the locations that these aircraft fly to.

Any info appreciated!

When going in that direction the VC10s are usually on their way to the air refueling towlines over the north sea. The route takes them to an airways crossing corridor that starts at Cosfors and end over what used to be RAF Newton... its a convenient way of getting through the busy north/south airways structure through the centre of the country.
