Selcal Codes
Photos of VC10 flight decks that include the selcal code placard are few and far between. It's well nigh impossible to ascertain selcal codes from other sources.
Can anyone remember or if anyone has a photo can they tell me the codes for
G-ARVF and G-ARVM.
Thanks

Re: Selcal Codes
My photos should show those, I'll have a look for you.
Edit: G-ARVF has the Selcal code AM-HJ (as parked in Hermeskeil now)
G-ARVM is a bit more difficult, first letter is E or B, second letter unknown and it ends on DL. I may be able to get the full code for you in a few days.

Thanks Jelle, I was at Brooklands at the end of July and didn't have time to see G-ARVM due to aged Mother!Jelle Hieminga wrote:My photos should show those, I'll have a look for you.

Your timing was perfect, I was at Brooklands yesterday morning and was able to get a look at the flight deck of VM for you. Here are some photos to back up my claims:

Re: Selcal Codes
I've just found the complete list of Selcal codes for all of the BOAC/BA VC10s in the VC10 Flying Manual.
This is from a 1971 update, hence the sad omission of G-ASGN!
Bill.

Re: Selcal Codes
By 1975 quite a few of BA's standard 10's had passed to Gulf Air.

Re: Selcal Codes
This thread has slipped down the list a bit, but I was wondering if anyone could help out in completing the list of SELCAL codes for all the VC10s? I've got the ones mentioned above, so the ones we're looking for are:
G-ARTA
G-ARVA
9G-ABP
BUA airframes (I've got A4O-AB already)
RAF airframes
G-ASGN
