Hey folks
Does anyone have any idea how likely it would be to get to visit brize to get up close and personal with one of the beauties down there!? any ideas on how to go about arranging it?
Thanks
Mike

Short of standing at the end of the runway it is difficult to sort out. If you live locally or have some sort of connection then it may be possible, but, if it is just for a look-see... that is harder
The Brize web site is
herewith addresses etc, but don't hold out too much hope I am afraid.

As for standing at the end of the runway, I found this page very helpful for that:
http://www.thunder-and-lightnings.co.uk ... orton.html
Enjoy!
Edit: I took this photo last year from a point halfway between H and I as shown on that diagram. I'd say that's the best point to see the parked aircraft. There wasn't much flying going on when I was there so I didn't visit the ends of the runway.

That is the first time I have seen both types of 10 together as a squadron. Sign of the times, I suppose, (that's the 10 sqn bias cutting in there)

. Down at BZN on a course the end of the month so I will get a better look, (if I can escape from the school/pod bay).
Obviously, the one in the middle stands out.
