A Little VC10derness

I heard some where that the cabin design on the VC-10 didnt allow for movie projectors? is this true, and if so, why?

I can only imagine that in the days that the VC10 was designed that few ac had projectors. When they did get fitted the early ones were quite large as they were wet film projectors. I guess there was just not enough room in the ceiling.

On the Tristars I remember a retractable device but it was about 2 feet deep when extended and most of it dissapeared into the roof... just not the depth available in the 10...

Just a thought.
