Hi All
Watched the video's for the two VC10's landing at Bruntingthorpe but one aborts the landing ( not sure which one ), fantastic climb away though, what power !!! I'd like to ask a few questions please.
1. Did it abort because of the cross winds and ran out of runway.
2. Why on earth have CJD been given the contract for "spares recovery" when those brilliant chaps at St Athan have been doing an excellent job for years.(even if spares recovery is an unpleasant task) Yet their jobs are coming to an end. OOPS !!!! sorry about getting into a DSG Sealand rant. :-)/\/\/\)
3. Why was a VC10 ( XV107 ) I think, at Manchester Airport earlier this month (HD quality video though on - you tube).

Answers to your Qs...

1. No, just to have a look at the runway 1st, and because they could :D
2. No idea....
3. It was repainted there after a Major...

All the best,

Tonks :D
