Look what I found in a local watering hole here at sunny St. Athan. This is not a windup, it is produced but cottage brewery in Dorset apparently.

Quite fruity but too warm for me. Had to give it a go though!

Dorset produces some of the best beer in the country because of the River Stour. Badger Beer is the most popular!!!!

I like it! Here's the brewery's website: http://www.cottagebrewing.co.uk/
The VC10 beer is not on there, apparently they've switched to producing a 'Trident' beer though...

A shame that they're writing the name with a hyphen though, that's the incorrect American spelling [-X

A mate of mine that works within the Bristol VC10 Project Team told me that VC10 beer was being sold in a pub in Bath. I went to the pub last Tuesday, but they had run out. I have since contacted the brewery to find out whether there were any other pubs selling this ale but they are not as it was a one-off brew for the summer. They also did not sell bottles either!

Here's what the brewery said when I e-mailed them:
The VC-10 was a seasonal brew that we produced through August and the
description of the ale is below:

VC-10 ABV 4.5% - A golden ale, well hopped to give a distinctive hop
flavour and aroma.

Chris Norman who started the Brewery used to be a pilot and we have used
the photos of aeroplanes that he took to run a aeroplane theme through
our monthly specials.

Perhaps you could remind them that 2012 is the 50th anniversary. So they could do an anniversary brew!!!! :-)
