Blue stripes on 101 squadron VC10's?

I've often come across the tale that the first cheatline/stripes applied to 101 Squadron machines were painted on in light blue, much to the crews disgust. I just wondered if anyone knew which aircraft they were applied to and what hue of blue was used and how many aircraft were painted in this short lived colour scheme?

That was ZA149. I don't have an image of this scheme on the site unfortunately but the page about this airframe has some bits of info about it. There is a photo of this scheme in Scott Henderson's book.

I remember it well... my course photo was taken in front of that jet when I joined the fleet. I was not liked at all by crews and was soon painted out! I never heard it described as too pretty though LOL

I'll be a typical girl, I quite like it in the light blue, it does look pretty!
