I then flew to Barbados with my parents for a holiday in 1970.My dad worked as an avionics engineer for BOAC.We flew on a Super VC10 I think it was G-ASGC(or something like that). I next flew on a 10 to Athens in 1972 on EAA 5H-MMT, later a K4 I think.
In 1985 I was lucky to be selected to work as an air steward on 10 Sqn.I served 4 years flying almost around the world enjoying a fantastic job and life style.Three years later I returned for a 2nd tour, which lasted 3 years until I took redundancy at the end of 1996.I attended the disbandment ceremony in October 2005, and I am a member of the 10 Sqn Association.
