Using quotes in posts

A request from me:
If you wish to reply to a post please only use the quote facility if it helps with understanding your post. I've seen many people quoting entire posts, even those immediately above theirs. In this last case when you wish to reply to a previous post, the quote is really not necessary. Use this facility sensibly please, it keeps the forums free of clutter, saves having to scroll past 'double' posts and lightens the load on the servers. Only quote selected bits of a post if possible.
