EX 10 Sqn VC10's Get Tail Letters

With the demise of 10 Squadron and the reallocation of VC10 Aircraft to 101 Squadron the inevitable has now happened. Ex 10 Squadron aircraft are now begining to sport 101 Squadron crests on the Fin along with tail letters. XV104 now has both a 101 Sqn Crest and a Tail Letter of ‘U’.

As an addition to the above XV101 now has 'S' on the tail.

Nice photos. Guess they are trying to keep me busy, but I'll update the RAF page, not to worry

Looking through that list, if they had scrapped one less the letters wouldn't have fitted without reassigning some. Looks like XV109 will be 'Z'.
